Tau Alpha Foundation Inc. and Turalba Foundation Inc., both non-stock corporations, have extended their hands to the College of Engineering and Agro-industrial Technology through the UPLB CEAT Alumni Association (UPAE- UP Los Baños Chapter).
The donors with the Board Members of the Association signed a Memorandum of Agreement on 27 April 2019 at Mount Malarayat Golf and Country Club, Lipa City, Batangas.
Aforementioned in the agreement is the financial support that will be given by the foundations starting AY 2019-2020 until AY 2021-2022.
The two will be assisting thirty (30) underprivileged graduating students of the College of Engineering and Agro-industrial Technology per academic year (20 from Tau Alpha and 10 from Turalba), provided that students must have good scholastic standing during the period of the grant.
The donations will be part of the Student Financial Assistance Program of UPLB CEAT AA which intends to help underprivileged students in the college. (Mary Jane F. Gallardo)
